Fred Thomas Jr. the seven time N.A.A.C.P award nominee and winner of Best Director, Best Playwright, and Best Producer for his play 12’ x 9’ is an alumnus of Lincoln University, PA (HBCU), and Temple University receiving his Masters in Film and Media Arts. His credits and achievements include being the founder of Temple University’s Black Media Collective, a Film Independent Screenwriting Fellowship Recipient, a Writers Guild of America Veterans Writing program alumnus, and one of the original friend's who starred in the iconic Budweiser Whassup Guys! commercials. 

 

To date,  he’s the director-producer-actor on the film 24 Hour Love, writer-director for the TV movie Ladies Book, director-co-writer for What Would Divas Do? Divalogues, a musical stage play for the series R&B Divas L.A., and directed the stage plays, When A Man Stands Alone, and How To Raise A Freeman. He is a performer in the sketch comedy group Sketchy Businessand stars as Detective Grover Caine in the new WEtv  network drama series KOLDxWINDY.
